Normandy Relic STG 44 2.14417

This amazing piece was found near Trun in the Falaise Pocket Normandy, France. The area was aptly referred to as “The Corridor of Death”.

The STG was found when a land owner removed a hedge row to compensate for a new field system. A whole cache of weapons, helmet and equipment was unravelled that day in 1995.

I was lucky enough to of purchased nearly everything, which has been in my personal collection ever since.  Over the years I have sold and traded a few pieces, and now due to circumstances beyond my control, I am offering this for sale.  When it was initially found it had no magazine attached.  I added one from the same hoard.  There were quite a few Waffen SS items among the finds, so there is a good chance that this could belonged to them as it was one of their favoured weapons. (purely speculation of course) A real centre piece to any collection.

I treated it with an incralac solution which was popular at the time. No further corrosion has appeared since I done this in the 90’s.

Due the the way of the World and the nature of this item, I will only post it within the mainland UK. Please inform us of your post code for a shipping quote.

You are most welcome to come and collect in person.
